About Us
Welcome to High Barnet Islamic Centre, where our journey began four years ago as ​Darul Noor Islamic Centre (Charity No. 1190170) with a shared vision of fostering community and supporting our fellow brothers and sisters. Alhamdulilah in 2024 we acquired the first ever Community Centre for Muslims in High Barnet which is known as ​High Barnet Islamic Centre (HBIC).​
We pride ourselves on being a diverse and inclusive community that transcends cultural and professional boundaries. At High Barnet Islamic Centre, we believe in unity, and this unity is reflected in our team, a harmonious blend of doctors, CFA Charterholders, FCCA accountants, business owners, IT professionals, and university students. Each member brings a unique set of skills and experiences, dedicated to the common goal of contributing to the success of our Masjid.​​​
Alhamdulillah, our team is a testament to the beauty of diversity and unity. Hailing from various corners of the globe, our members bring a rich tapestry of cultures and experiences to our shared mission. We are proud to have a team composed of individuals from different countries. This international collaboration allows us to leverage a variety of perspectives and skills, fostering a more holistic approach to our work in supporting the Masjid and the community. Apart from the five trustees, we have a number of competent members on the committee which help us with the day-to-day running of the organisation. These members include ex-trustees from other masajids as well as individuals who come from families that have been involved in establishing masajids in other parts of London.​
